League of Women Voters of Dare members (women and men) operate all aspects of the organization on a strictly volunteer basis.
LWV-Dare works to inform and educate the public on vital issues of concern to our community including:
- Registering voters and providing current election information
- Informing voters on candidate positions from all parties
- Creating and distributing an annual Citizens’ Guide
- Organizing local Candidate Forums
- Engaging the community in education and discussion of issues of common interest
