Dare County Early Voting Survey. LWV Dare Board is working to enhance the voting experience of Dare County voters for the General Election on November 7th, specifically the Early Voting option. In order to provide feedback regarding early voting and hours available to the Dare County Board of Elections, an Early Voting Survey has been created. We hope to report findings at the July 26th Board of Elections meeting.

Pioneer Theater, Manteo World Premiere of "Equal Means Equal". The League of Women Voters Dare County and ERA-NC are co-sponsoring a World Premiere showing of a new film right here in Dare County! We will be joining dozens of cities / towns in the U.S., from Manhattan to Los Angeles who will view and discuss the film and its message.

We will be learning about what this non-profit does to protect and restore the NC coast, the oyster reef project, and other shoreline protection alternatives to ensure clean estuarine waters. Some attendees may be able to take a boat ride to view the oyster reef. An optional lunch will follow at Sugar Creek restaurant.
